NCC 8(T) GIRLS BATTALION

To inculcate PATRIOTISM in young girls, A Separate Army wing in NCC has been started at college in the year 2017 and elevated now strength of 50 under leader ship of an Army Trained Lieutenant. Mrs. Rajitha.

Based on terms & conditions mentioned in Army and physical, mental aptitude of the interested girls took admissions in our college will be selected in this battalion. The whole process of selection is made by NCC officials.

Training:

Our NCC train the cadets in drill, shooting, physical fitness, map reading, first aid, camp training covering basic of military training in Army. In addition, depending upon the type of service, basic knowledge of that service is imparted to the cadets as part of institutional training.

NCC Social Service Activities

Our NCC has adopted community development activities with the aim of imbibing amongst cadets selfless service to the community, dignity of labor, importance of self help, need to protect the environment and to assist weaker sections of the society in their upliftment.

NCC Achievements:

🏅 Mr. P. Laxman (B.Com III Year) received a medal from the President of India at the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi (2019).

🎖️ Miss Chandana TS18SWA201254 (B.Com III Year) and Miss Deekshitha P. TS18SWA201270 (B.Com III Year) participated in the Independence Day Parade (2019) and the Republic Day Parade (2020) held at Secunderabad.

🎖️ Miss Hanna Dorth TS18SWA201211 (BBA III Year) participated in the Independence Day Parade at Secunderabad (2020).

🚩 Miss Priyanka TS17FWA201804 attended the Pre-Republic Day Parade at Secunderabad (2019).

Aims of NCC:

  • To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizen.

  • To create a human resource of organised trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces and be always available for the service of the nation.

  • To provide training for students with a view to develop in them officer like qualities,thus enabling them to obtain commission in armed forces.
